Aleksandra Ward, originally from Warsaw, Poland, has lived in Stillwater since 1998, where she works at River Market Co-op. Her cooking blends old-world Polish flavors with a modern appreciation for seasonal, local, and sustainable foods. Whether preparing pierogi by hand or simmering a pot of bigos, Aleksandra shares not only her recipes but also the stories, memories, and comforting spirit of the Polish kitchen. She draws inspiration not only from the dishes she grew up with but also from the folk art, rituals, and everyday traditions that shaped her sense of home.
