Circular Weaving (Ages 8+)

Registration for this class opens to MMFS members on November 10, and then to the general public on November 12, 2026. Not a member yet? You can sign up here.

From the best way to warp, to weaving and finishing, learn the basics of circular weaving by creating a hand-woven wall hanging on a five inch embroidery hoop during this relaxed, three-hour workshop. Circular weaving is a flexible, expressive, and approachable way to explore the art of weaving.

This project is a perfect starting point for beginners of all ages. If you've already been introduced to the art of weaving, it will also offer stitch variations and new techniques to add texture and dimension to future projects.
