Explore the therapeutic and functional properties of a variety of wild mushrooms and their extract compounds. In this in-depth class, we will perform a dual extraction and create a tincture. We will discuss the benefits of mushroom extracts, learning best practices and how to avoid common hazards in the delicate process of making mushroom tonics.

About the Instructor: Michael Karns

Your instructor will provide the following:

Prepared mushrooms for extraction, tincturing bottles, and extraction processing equipment.

Students are asked to bring:

  • We recommend dressing in layers, as certain classrooms can be drafty depending on the time of year.
