Beginning American Mahjong (2-day class)

New to American Mahjong? This class is the perfect place to start! This class will begin with a discussion of the history of this popular game of strategy, luck, and skill. You will learn the fundamentals and rules of Mahjong while getting comfortable recognizing the tiles and reading the National Mahjong League (NMJL) card. You’ll learn how the deal works, master the Charleston tile-passing ritual, and then put it all together by playing the game.

No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and get ready to join a friendly, welcoming community of players!

Note: this is a 2-day class, taking place on October 24 & October 31, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
