Create a beautiful rug using old clothes and discarded fabric. No sewing is required for this flexible and forgiving braided-in technique, which results in a durable and eye-catching rug. We will learn to make a round rug, then explore a range of design options and experiment with color and pattern, making each piece uniquely your own.

Note that this is a 2-day class, taking place Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Skill Level 

Beginner: no prior knowledge or skills required to participate

 

Age Requirement 

Students ages 16 and older are welcome to attend this class. Students ages 16 and 17 may attend without a parent/guardian in attendance as long as MMFS is provided with written parental permission by email to info@marinemillsfolkschool.org.
